Meet at the Visitor’s Center at 10 a.m. We plan to explore the Refuge on foot: Nature Trails. There is also a 4 mile Wildlife Drive. Given the heat sensitivities our group members might have, we are starting early. You are welcome to join or leave the group at any point. If you miss us at the Visitor’s Center call Kimberly at 214-289-0286 so you can find us. Please bring plenty of water and snacks.

Note: The tram is already booked. If you have mobility issues, contact Kimberly. It might be possible to rent a wheelchair from an outside vendor.

Please be aware of the lengthy drive from Dallas – Google Maps estimates an 1 and 1/2 hour drive from downtown Dallas. Send a reply email to Kimberly Aikman (aikmank@gmail.com) or call 214 289 0286 so we know to expect you.
